West - 3/29/2012: Monitoring Station NWB - M-2 looking west at oak (Quercus spp.), cabbage palm (Sabal palmetto) and saw palmetto (Serenoa repens). Bushy bluestem (Andropogon glomeratus) dominates the groundcover. |
South - 3/29/2012: Monitoring Station NWB - M-2 looking south at cabbage palm (Sabal palmetto), oak (Quercus spp.), and various sedge and grass species. Much of the area adjacent to Station M-2 was formerly dominated by Brazilian pepper (Schinus terebinthifolius) and is now maintained by mowing. |

Mangroves have almost fully recovered from past freezes. Cabbage palm (Sabal palmetto) and bushy bluestem (Andropogon glomeratus) along wetland edge. |
