Mosaic�s Coastal Education Center is an outdoor classroom located on Mosaic�s South Parcel Property just south of the Riverview plant and the Alafia River. A team of interested community members and Mosaic employees worked together to create the environmental curriculum for the center, which targets fourth grade students. The name of the curriculum is "Where the River Meets the Bay" and was created by curriculum specialists in coordination with the local elementary school teachers and principals - and approved by the Hillsborough County schools. The Center hosts over 1,500 fourth grade students each year and will celebrate its 20-year anniversary in 2024.
